THINK ABUNDANCE

PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS Series 16

THINK ABUNDANCE

It’s a world of abundance. There’s abundance of everything in this world – abundance of air, abundance of water, abundance of precious minerals, abundance of plants and animals. There’s abundance of space on land, at sea, in the air. It’s a world of abundance – abundance of people, abundance of knowledge, abundance of human capacities. It’s a world of abundance. There’s abundance of riches, wealth and money. There’s abundance of good things of life.

It’s a world of plenty. Therefore, have abundance mentality, not scarcity mentality. Stop seeing scarcity.

What do you see? What you see depends on who you are. If you’re a con person, you tend to see everybody as  a trickster. If you’re greedy, it seems to you that everybody is greedy. If you’re not trustworthy, you are likely to find it difficult to trust people. You tend to see people as a reflection of who you are.

If you see scarcity in the world, then you have scarcity mentality. And that affects the way you live. If you believe things are scarce, you want to hold on tightly to the little you have, you don’t share, you become greedy.

Scarcity mentality is poverty thinking. When you have poverty mentality you are never happy no matter how much you have. The opposite is also true: when you have prosperity mentality you are happy no matter the little in your hands.

Abundance mentality is a mindset that there’s much more than enough to go round no matter how much the other person gathers. Abundance mentality believes that’s plenty for everybody; that the other person’s riches are not at the expense of my own riches. Abundance mentality says, “No matter how much wealth you gather, you can only gather yours, you can never gather what belongs to me.”

You’re limited by your thinking. Open up your mind. Expand your horizon and see beyond your immediate environment. See outside your small world. There’s abundance to go round. See abundance.

The wise man says, “As he thinks in his heart so is he.” You are what your thoughts have made of you. Our mind is awesome. It attracts the physical reality of its dominant thoughts. If you think about it long enough, you tend to attract it. What occupies your mind will be seen in your life. Nothing passes through your life that has not settle in your mind. If you mind it long enough you will master it.

Therefore, watch what occupies your mind. Take control of your mind because it’s the control room of your life. Empty your mind of poverty thinking. Fill you mind with fresh thoughts of abundance. Consciously and deliberately fill your mind with thoughts of abundance and they will crowd out thoughts of scarcity.

Task your mind to think beyond you. Think of where you’re going and not where you are. Think of the house you’re going to build and not the rented apartment you presently occupy. Think of the money you’re going to earn and not your empty pocket. Think of the business you’re going to build, people you’re going to bless, places you’re going to possess, and not your present defeats. Think happiness. Think righteousness. Think love. Think riches. Think abundance.
